He has written extensively about the performance turn in cultural\/social theory, especially with regard to heritage and leisure\/tourism studies, including \u003ci\u003ePerforming tourist places \u003c\/i\u003e(Ashgate, 2004) and \u003ci\u003eTourism, performance and the everyday\u003c\/i\u003e (Routledge, 2009) and about design and experience-based communication. \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eKirsten Drotner\u003c\/strong\u003e is Professor of media studies at the University of Southern Denmark and director of two national R\u0026amp;D programmes DREAM and Our Museum.
