Her first book, \u003ci\u003eLearning How to Fall: Art and Culture after September 11\u003c\/i\u003e (Routledge, 2015), investigates the changing relationship between world events and their subsequent documentation in mainstream and social media. Her recent projects explore the potential of performance to enact radical care. She has published articles and reviews in journals including \u003ci\u003eTDR\u003c\/i\u003e, \u003ci\u003ePerformance Research\u003c\/i\u003e, and the\u003ci\u003e International Journal of Performance Arts and Digital Media\u003c\/i\u003e, among others, and dramaturged experimental music-theatre and theatre productions in Canada, Mexico, and the US. \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cb\u003eAdriana Disman\u003c\/b\u003e, PhD, is a performance artist and writer.
