We started putting these pieces together on their own page as originally drawn, but something unexpected happened... \u003cstrong\u003eWe began overlaying certain sketches, allowing for serendipitous relationships to blossom\u003c\/strong\u003e. \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eAs the drawings began to stack, what became important was no longer their original context, but the juxtapositions of line weights, tones, textures, and rhythms\u003c\/strong\u003e. It also emphasized the individual signature of each artist's lines.\u2028\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003ethis book includes drawings completed across many places and times, by two different artists with their own approaches. Jason and Giovanni met during architecture school and have long learned from each other.
