AS I RIDE OFF into the sunset I would like to leave you with these thoughts. I have had the pleasure and opportunity in my life to have worked in both the public and private business sectors for over fifty years. However, my greatest pleasure has been to have met and shared those same years with my wonderful wife, Karenann. Together with our four children, we made a great middle class family. When you read 2020 Visions, For Families, Friends, the Hopeful and the Helpful, you will be reading about how our nation's growth is interdependent on our families, social groups, and individual growth. That growth is physical, mental, spiritual, and economic. Without economic growth, the others may not be able to exist. The most important factor for economic growth is this: If you are not part of the growth solution you are part of the problem. We all must labor to fix our problems.
