Don walked around Codsall with the chairman of the history society, Judy Davies, pointing out historic nooks and crannies - those that remain and others that have disappeared, and the characters who frequented them. Don moved to Codsall in 1932 as a young child and retains vivid memories of the village in the 1930s and War years. Nearly a century later, in 2025, those precious recollections were recorded for posterity and illustrated with numerous archive photographs dating back to the 1900s in this charming little book.
