Courageous Beginnings: Playing with Fire (A Prequel) - Paperback

by Ginny Sterling (Author)

When a charity auction takes an unexpected twist, no one guessed the true prize would be... love.

Firefighter Kyle Rimes never imagined he'd end up here: on a makeshift auction block in the town square, hands bound (okay, metaphorically) and his dignity in shreds, while the townsfolk bid on him like he was the last slice of pie. Had everyone gone mad? Or had he? Because he was starting to wonder if he might actually want to be won...

Reyna Mattingly needed a little muscle for her latest project-and who better than the grumpy hometown hero who looked like he'd rather be anywhere else? Back in town with a fresh start, she figured a little harmless bidding might be the best way to make her mark. And wow, did she make an impression!

Just maybe not the one she planned...
