Forays into Hyperspace: From Borneo to Berkeley and Beyond - Paperback
Details
by Saul-Paul Sirag (Author)
"Forays Through Hyperspace" is a romp through mid-20th century culture-from Japanese concentration camps in Java during WWII into the mathematics of hyperspace. Saul-Paul Sirag was raised as a Christian missionary but after graduating from seminary studied pre-med for a year before moving to U.C. Berkeley, where he discovered theater. He hopped a freight train to New York. There he produced an Off-Off-Broadway play. Back in Berkeley, he became active in social justice and the psychedelic movement.
Psychedelics piqued his interest in consciousness. He co-led Esalen workshops and was president of the Parapsychology Research Group in San Francisco.
Sirag has written numerous articles. His monograph, "ADEX Theory: How the ADE Coxeter Graphs Unify Math and Physics," is available through World Scientific.
