Grim's Delight: The New Protectorate Syndicate: Book One - Paperback

by Abigail Kelly (Author)

A bloody war nears its end.

Felix Amauri is the rightful heir to the most powerful vampire crime family on the continent. After years of taking out challengers to his claim, everything he's fought for is finally within reach - until one sloppy assassination threatens to ruin everything.

To be human is to be prey.

For years, the worst thing Dahlia McKnight could picture was becoming a vampire's toy. She never imagined that she'd witness a brutal assassination, let alone that she'd be turned in the process. One day she's a waitress, the next she's the sole heir to a vicious crime family embroiled in a war of succession and the target of an icy vampire prepared to do anything to take what he's owed.

He needs her for more than just her blood.

Learning to be a vampire is hard enough, but when it's discovered that she can carry another vampire's offspring, nothing will stop Felix from claiming her. If she wants to be more than just his plaything, it'll mean becoming the predator she was born to be.
