Author Biography
Farah M. Mohamed is a short story author, novelist, and poet, both in English and his native (Somali) languages. For more than ten years, Farah worked with refugees and immigrant communities in the United States; particularly Somalis and other minorities in the Washington metropolitan area. Even though he had shown keen interest in reading and writing, since his childhood he has been deeply inspired by the refugee stories and the continued social strife of his native land.
