Parastone - Paperback

by Abbie Messerall (Author)

When Ally purchases the apartment building where she spent her early childhood, she expects a wave of nostalgia. However, as renovations begin, something stranger begins to stir. The people who had once lived there with her begin acting oddly and the building itself seems to breathe with memories-and emit menace.

As unsettling fragments of her childhood return, Ally is forced to question everything she believed to be true about her early home and youth. As the line blurs between haunting and memories, she must confront the possibility that maybe, her past was never what she thought it had been. The answers lie in the shadows and the unnerving past of the building she once called home-but uncovering them may cost her more than she's willing to remember.

Parastone is a psychological paranormal mystery about nostalgia, denial, and the truths we bury in order to survive, only this time, the past refuses to stay buried.
