Healthy boundaries help everyone develop safer, more joyful relationships as well as to protect themselves from domestic and dating violence, abuse, and harassment, says personal safety and violence prevention expert Irene van der Zande. Irene is the founder and executive director of Kidpower Teenpower Fullpower International, a nonprofit organization that has served over two million children, teens, and adults, including survivors of domestic violence, dating violence, and interpersonal violence and abuse, since being established in 1989.
