Doug recounts with vivid detail the daily challenges his army platoon endured as they faced death on the battlefield regularly, a band of brothers until the end. Once discharged from war, he settled into a working and family life until depression triggered from his war experiences caused unrest in his life. It wasn't until he yielded to the loving pursuit of God for his heart that peace and hopefulness returned to him again.
