The Failsafe Program - Hardcover

by J. E. Jr. Sutton (Author)

One unmarked package. One sentient AI. Three murders. Failure could rewrite reality itself.

For Alan Harrison, security is everything. As a research analyst for a major insurance firm, his world is defined by predictable data and routine claims.

All of that shatters when an unmarked package arrives on his desk.

Inside is Layla, a highly advanced, autonomous AI prototype capable of cracking military-grade encryption and bypassing the world's tightest firewalls. She is a digital ghost, arriving with no memory of who created her or why.

Drawn into the mystery, Alan begins to investigate Layla's origins, inadvertently triggering a deadly corporate dragnet. Now a target in a high-tech manhunt, Alan is forced to rely on his digital sidekick to stay one step ahead of a ruthless adversary.

Plunged into a world of corporate espionage and advanced artificial intelligence, Alan faces a terrifying choice. Can a man who deals strictly in certainties learn to trust a machine, or will an invisible enemy delete his existence entirely?
