Through the lens of critical theory, this body of research has involved conducting analysis into works by artists Pipilotti Rist, Helen Chadwick, and Adrian Piper. An objective of this book is, through research into these selected feminist contemporary artists, to question if we have the ability to feel supposedly opposing emotions simultaneously while viewing their work.
