From an early age I have been attracted to this story - my childhood was spent with my Granny Jessie in Lindsay House and when I was 16, Mother and I were in a shop belonging to my father's uncle in Hania. He turned to my mother and said "As long as Marie lives, Jessie will not die". These words marked my life. I was to be the keeper of the Scottish past in my life and the Cretan branch of the Lindsays of Dundee.
