GOD In The Meantime is a journey recounting stories of God's sovereignty and His faithfulness to His promises. From my first, real love and eventual husband,
to long awaited children,
health struggles,
and everything in between.

It is a glimpse into how God is at work even when we don't see him in the meantime and that God is in complete control even in our most chaotic and difficult times. I bring awareness to the pain of infertility and also to a rare and often deadly congenital condition called an Arteriovenous Malformation - AVM for short.

But the book is about more than enduring pain and suffering. It is also about love for the Caribbean traditions and cultures that shaped me. Born and raised in Jamaica, I have made a home in Panama since 2006. My love for both countries permeates every aspect of the book. I introduce the reader to a Jamaica that is warm, vibrant, and beautiful, yet much more than the popular vacation spot many people know and love.

I also evoke the age-old ties between Panama and Jamaica and introduce the reader to loving, Christian community who supported me throughout my journey in both countries.

Finally, the book is about the joy and assurance of being guided by the Creator of the Universe. You see, the full title of the sixty-chapter testimony is GOD In The Meantime, A Story of Trusting God's Voice and Embracing His Timing.

As the title suggests, I assert and illustrate through my stories that God is not only a God who listens, but one who speaks as well. I spotlight the God who speaks to His people in extraordinary ways about major events as well as the mundane, day-to-day stuff. My stories show that God can derive glory from everything - even the minute details of our lives. We need only learn to recognize the voice of God, and trust that HIS timing is impeccable.
