Sun Mountain Slaughter - Paperback

SIRS: I HEREBY RESIGN MY COMMISSION IN THE UNITED STATES ARMY. I AM ENLISTING IN A WAR OF MY OWN.

VERY TRULY YOURS, MARK DORNE,
MAJOR, SEVENTH CAVALRY, U.S. ARMY

Mark Dorne was an ordinary man-until he came home and found his father murdered by mining company goons.

Bill Sharon, the big boss of the territory, had done this to him. And to others. Sharon owned everything in the state: water, power, timber-and, of course, the law.

Somebody had to get rid of Sharon and his gang, bring true law and order to the West. And Dorne swore he would do it.

Dynamite was his weapon. With the deadly sticks adorning his vest, with his blazing guns and incredible cunning, Dorne became an avenging legend within weeks. They called him "the Major," and there was a price of $25,000 on his head. But Dorne could not be caught. He was invisible, a shadow, a one-man vigilante force, sworn to destroy evil and bring hope to a ravaged land.
