Surge - Paperback

by Caroline Carter (Author)

Twenty-two-year-old Lara is dedicated to her studies as a law student at Melbourne University. She has no interest in love or relationships, and instead spends her free time hanging out with friends, visiting her grandmother in the nearby seaside town of Anglesea, and hitting the waves on her surfboard. But when a mysterious new student arrives at Lara's school, everything changes. Try as she might, she just can't fight the instant attraction she feels towards this gorgeous, slightly older man.Transfer student Marcus likes Lara immediately and sets out to earn her friendship - and only her friendship. Because Marcus has a secret that no one at school knows - a secret that, if revealed, could jeopardize not only his relationship with Lara, but everything he's worked for his entire life. But when their mutual attraction rises to a point that can no longer be ignored, Marcus must choose between giving into his feelings for Lara, despite the fact that he's lying to her, and walking away forever.Sensuality Level: Behind Closed Doors
