Author Biography

Rev. Ke'ala Vai is the founder of Aloha Healing Women in Hawaii. Aloha Healing Women has assisted many women in the last eight years in their recovery from abuse, eating disorders, grief, emotional and physical illnesses and furthered their spiritual growth. She is also the director of the not for profit Kalana Foundation which has assisted women financially on their healing paths. She is a Certified Hypnotherapist, Dream analyst, Reiki master of Seikim, Usui and Karuna practices, Holistic health counselor, massage therapist and a Wahine Pule - a woman who prays, in the indigenous Hawaiian church of Ho'ola I Ka Honua. She is also the author of "Healing what's eating you","Talking to the living and the dead", "Experiencing life after death" and "Losing weight without your losing your marbles". For many years the retreats have used dream analysis as a very important part of their recovery programs. Rev. Vai was mentored by Freddi and John Maquilla who have over fifty five years of combined experience in Jungian dream analysis. Rev.
